Our Alignment Film this week is Food Inc.
This 2008 American documentary film was directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Kenner.
This film was one of the top grossing documentaries of all time.
Food Inc examines corporate farming in the United States, concluding that agribusiness produces food that is unhealthy, in a way that is environmentally harmful and abusive of both animals and employees.
The film is narrated by Michael Pollan and Eric Schlosser.
Food Inc. provides helpful insights on where our food is coming from, how animals and plants are being mistreated and the impacts it’s having on our country.
