This week we’re excited to launch season four with a great new series called:
Five Dimensions of Peace
Over the coming months, we’ll be presenting numerous shows that feature an Alignment Movie or TV session around these Five Dimensions of Peace:
- Awareness
- Acceptance
- Respect
- Exchange
- Collaboration
Peace is a big topic and we have much ground to cover. We’ve been researching and preparing for this project for almost a year now.
We’re both delighted to present it to you and are looking forward to going on a journey to peace with you.
There’s so much change and chaos occurring in the world today. Our intent is to provide these shows and subsequent Alignment Movies to assist in helping you remain steady and balanced.
As we set out to research this vast project on peace, we came up with these 5 dimensions:
We see these as a framework to follow on our journey. Each dimension will have 5-10 Alignment movies to provide numerous examples of the facets that enable peace and those that get in the way.
So many times we see peace as something that is a result of actions taken to stop war or to destroy the enemy. We think that if we could just get rid of the bad guys, then we’d have peace.
Unfortunately it’s just not that simple. All we usually get is an escalation of the problem as the two sides take swipes at each other.
The only way to peace is to start with you.
It’s our inner conflict that collectively is perpetuating the patterns that keep us from realizing peace on earth.
As Krishnamurti says, Only in Peace can The Human Mind Be Free. He says:
“In the struggle to become something, both psychologically as well as outwardly, there is a perpetual conflict in each one of us. In our relationship with each other – sexually, in a family, in a community – conflict exists. Even to meditate becomes a conflict. To follow somebody becomes a conflict. And that is one of the major causes of disorder, not only in society, but in ourselves. When conflict exists between people there must inevitably be disorder. We have to see whether conflict in ourselves can end.”
So our journey will start with discovering our inner conflict. Which is why we’re beginning the first dimension on this series with the dimension of Awareness.
Until you can discover the awareness of your own inner turmoil and conflict, you’ll be unable to do anything about it.
Our featured alignment movie is Wild Hogs
The film Wild Hogs is about a group of suburban biker wannabes looking for adventure who hit the open road, but get more than they bargained for when they encounter a New Mexico gang called the Del Fuegos.
You may have seen it back in 2007 – it’s really a silly good time; with a star-filled cast including: Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, William H. Macy, Ray Liotta, and Marisa Tomei.
It’s a hilarious group of comedians and the movie is just simply fun.
As you watch Wild Hogs look for these key lessons that we included in this alignment session.
